Abstract

There are several stages love and nearness to Allah at one stage it encompasses all the creatures of the universe without exemption for it is the base and essence of existence.

The second stage is only meant for a few selected virtuous fellows and those pious souls and known at Auliya Allah (Friends of Allah).

It is narrated in Hadith Qudsi that a fellow being wins nearness to Allah through optional prayers. This nearness and love increases to the extent that Allah Himself loves that fellow being.

The tradition goes on the ultimately the vision of fellow reflects the vision of Allah strength of the Allah as and prayers the power of Allah. At this stage the fellow purely follows Allah’s will and path with not a slightest of life carried against Allah’s will.

In this category the prophets stand exalted among all humans because every prophet is infact wali (Friends of Allah) among prophets the Holy prophets status is supreme and exalted as a leader. The lowest stage in this category in the terms of Saregia (te mystics) is the) Qinar In this stage even in common man the love of Allah reaches at its height and his all actions are guided and principles by the willingness of Allah. The signs of this stage are excess re-remembrance of Allah and unconditional submission of the Allah. These are the two basic qualities that take on ordinary fellow to the status of Wali-ullah (Allah’s friend).
