01 The entrance of Islam and its expansion in the region of Baltistan (Pakistan)

Abstract

Before the arrival of Islam and its extension from the eighth century AH in Baltistand, a region in northern Pakistan, Buddhist Hinduism was prevalent. Since then, Islam has replaced these rituals and has gradually been accepted by the people. The research seeks to find out what factors and grounds could bring the people of this land to Islam.
