Abstract
One of the great achievements of modern communication is that human societies and various religious communities have become more familiar with one another than ever before. This phenomenon has opened new avenues of thought for people of faith. Since religion represents an eternal reality of human life, it continues to play a significant role among individuals and societies. Within the essence of religion lies a single divine truth that has manifested itself in different forms throughout various faiths over time.
It is noteworthy that in today’s world, interreligious dialogue among major religions has gained extraordinary acceptance. Prominent theologians and intellectuals are making sincere efforts to promote and expand this dialogue. The importance of this interaction lies in the fact that followers of religions particularly those of divine faiths are striving to discover historical and doctrinal commonalities, to remove ambiguities surrounding the original messages of religions, and to strengthen their shared foundations. In this context, an important question arises: how did the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) interact and engage with followers of other faiths? Addressing this question is the main objective of this research.
