شیخ مفید کی تبلیغی، تدریسی، تاسیسی و سیاسی خدمات: ایک جامع تحقیقی جائزہ
Abstract
Shaykh al-Mufīd (may God have mercy upon him) stands among the most distinguished and influential scholars of the Shi‘a Imāmī tradition. His multifaceted contributions left a profound imprint on the intellectual, cultural, and political landscape of the 4th and 5th centuries A.H. His services may broadly be categorized into the missionary, academic-research, pedagogical, foundational, and political domains.
In the field of missionary work, Shaykh al-Mufīd adopted an effective and refined methodology grounded in psychological insight and an early, sophisticated conception of scholarly dialogue. His approach centered on diverse modes of reasoning, dialectical engagement, and a defensive literary tradition that powerfully articulated Shi‘a doctrines. In the realm of scholarship and research, he produced a monumental intellectual legacy comprising juristic treatises, theological works, collections of hadith and traditions, polemical writings, and records of debates, all of which constitute a cornerstone of classical Shi‘a scholarship.
