Abstract

:  In the Holy Qur'an, Allah Almighty has forbidden Muslims from division and disorder in many places. The Qur'an has also warned the Muslims of the bad consequences of division, according to which, apart from the hereafter punishment, one of its main consequences in this world is the weakness of the Muslims and the end of their collective strength. Allah has declared division and chaos to be the path of Jews, Christians and the enemies of Islam, while living together in unity and agreement is the path of the believers. In the same way, the Holly Prophet (PBUH) has also strongly urged Muslims to stay away from division, confusion and discord in his decrees. The Prophet (peace be upon him) has forbidden the Muslims from prolonging their anger for more than three days even in case of mutual disagreement. In the light of these teachings, he laid the foundation of an Islamic society free from division and chaos, where people had gathered under the flag of Islam after erasing their old ugliness and differences and transcending the distinctions of color, race, nation and tribe. Due to which a beautiful human Islamic society was founded. Therefore, spreading division and chaos within the society in any way is equivalent to turning away from the Qur'an and Sunnah. However, the disagreement that is prohibited in the Qur'an and Sunnah is the negative disagreement that arises due to envy, malice, malice and enmity. But if people disagree with each other's thoughts and ideas while living in the circle of civilization in a polite and scholarly way, then it is not prohibited, rather such a difference is also useful for the development of human thoughts and ideas. These issues have been highlighted in the light of Quran and Sunnah in this paper.
