Abstract

Morality nurture humans to the climax of spiritual and intrinsic evolution. The governance is the same as the politics, which deals with the administration of human society by managing, reshaping and governing the society. They both are interwoven and interconnected with the governance of society management. Both deals with citizens’ public and private affairs in all dimensions.

Basically the question that, how the practical wisdom of ethics plays a role in the heart of government and political governance? By examining the indicators of good governance in any civilized society, we can clearly conclude that the roots of all of them are focused and lies on the basis of Islamic ethics.

How it can be that, with so many verses of the Holy Word of God and the sacred statements of the infallible imams and religious leaders which are completely rinsed with moral dimensions and good principles such as, the accountability of the government, the law of justice, fair trial, freedom of expression, public participation, control and war against corruption and transparency should be defined and interpreted from the moral dimension without the institution of ethics. So ethics and governance are not contradicting with each other but rather, by the way, all of the positive indicators of good governance are based on and rooted in the Islamic ethics. Therefore, it will be more prudent to conclude that, by exercising of all these good parameters of ethics, the desired governance will extremely be better to yield the marvelous results.
