اہل تشیع کے اصول تفسیر ومناھج کا تجزیاتی مطالعہ

Abstract

Division of Muslims into two major group Sunni and Shi’ah, whatever the
reason may be behind this division, has great impact on the changing of principles of
different fields of Islamic Studies and their contents. The ramifications may not be
differed but the methods, grounds and references adopted by both seem to be go on
parallel to each other’s. All it is because of the difference in their beliefs. The stance of
Sunni exegetes regarding sayings of Prophet Muhammad (Allah’s Peace and Blessings
be on Him), in term of the chain of narrators is not that of shi’it so that has a great impact
on the commentary of the Holy Quran with Traditions/Hadiths. Shi’a’s take on the Imams
and their sanctity and their notion of Taqiyya’ create difference in principles of their tafsir
from the stance of sunni commentators. It is noteworthy that shi’ah’s views on the inner
meaning of the Quranic verses, reasons of revelation and abrogation of the Quranic
verses are to some extent different which result in the difference of principles. The study
aims to explore the difference of exegetical principles of Sunni and Shi’ah and to find out
their grounds with a analytical study.
