Man has made great progress and new discoveries and inventions are coming out day by day. But on the other side the spirituality is on the decline and the storm of materialism has enveloped the whole world. In this situation the last prophet’s life is role model for humanity as Quran says that He is the complete role model for you. The life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is the life of a perfect and complete human being, whose moral virtues can illuminate the human society of every era. Equality, justice and other moral values are necessary for the formation of a better human society. Bright examples of these values are found in the life of the Prophet(pbuh). The purpose of studying the biography of the prophet is that the practical form of the Quranic verses and the hadiths of the Prophet can come before us so that we can follow the prophetic role in every aspect of our practical life.
2024-09-30T21:52:16+05:00 Sayed Munawar Ali Shah editorbhikmah@salu.edu.pk Raza Hussain Shar editorbhikmah@salu.edu.pk hikmah hikmah editor.hikmah@salu.edu.pk
So for as Proper attention and care, look after and energy are necessary for maintenance of physical health, similarly protection, perfection and growth are important for spiritual health. When we cover our body with clothes and do not leave it in an open environment, it does not mean that body is kept in certain limitations but it is to keep it safe and secure in better manners. Similarly when we protect our soul from troubles and losses so that it may not be entrapped into pollutions and dirtinesses. when heart and soul are protected in such a way ,it is called taqwa (righteousness,). It conducts a comparative analysis of two legal frameworks: Islamic law and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). Both systems, the article argues, share a core principle: the distinction between fighters and non-fighters.

It explores how Islamic law, drawing from the Quran and prophetic traditions, emphasizes just warfare ethics. This includes limitations on the use of force, prohibition of targeting civilians and civilian property, and the guarantee of fair treatment for prisoners of war. The analysis examines how these principles translate into practical rules, such as restrictions on weaponry and the obligation to minimize civilian casualties.

* PhD Scholar, Department of Qur’anic Studies, IUB.

** Department of Religion and Art, University of Regions and Denomination, Qom, Iran

The article explores how IHL, codified in treaties like the Geneva Conventions, establishes a comprehensive framework for civilian protection during armed conflict. The article also examines specific IHL protections for vulnerable groups like children, medical personnel, and civilians caught in the crossfire. By comparing Islamic law and IHL, the article highlights both convergences and divergences in their approaches to civilian protection. It explores areas of potential cooperation, where Islamic legal interpretations can reinforce IHL principles. Conversely, the article examines areas where interpretations of Islamic law might differ from IHL norms.

In conclusion, the article emphasizes the significance of both Islamic law and IHL in safeguarding civilians during war and violence. It underscores the need for continued dialogue and collaboration between these legal systems to ensure the most robust protection possible for innocent populations caught in the throes of conflict.
2024-09-30T17:29:35+05:00 Tariq Bin Umer editorbhikmah@salu.edu.pk hikmah hikmah editor.hikmah@salu.edu.pk
Naseem Hijazi’s Novel (Akhri Chatan) is such a story of the society which had perceived Peerless acme and acute ruin. His magnum opus, the Shah Jo Risalo, profoundly engages with the Quran through direct references and thematic parallels. Within his verses, Bhittai highlighted pivotal Islamic concepts seamlessly integrating them into Sindh's cultural and spiritual fabric. Symbolic imagery such as water and journeys, coupled with mystical interpretations of Ishq and Fana, illustrate the depth of his spiritual insight. By invoking Quranic verses, parables, and teachings, Bhittai conveys moral and religious lessons while generating a rich poetic exchange between Islamic scripture and Sufi thought. This study aims to explore the intricate ways Bhittai's poetry resonates with the Quran, offering a profound understanding of his spiritual and literary contributions.
2024-10-01T00:53:31+05:00 Naeem Hussain Chang editorbhikmah@salu.edu.pk Arif Hussain editorbhikmah@salu.edu.pk hikmah hikmah editor.hikmah@salu.edu.pk
Since the creation of mankind on Earth, their growth and guidance have been fully arranged and the Creator has continued His arrangement through the invitations of the nominated prophets. Finally, the last prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him) arrived with the revealed book of Allah, “The Quran”. The Quran, both in its meaning and essence, is undoubtedly a divine revelation. It is a celestial book upon which many researchers and critics have embarked including a class of orientalists who have conducted intensive research work on the Quran from different angles and aspects.

The orientalists claim that the Quran is not a book of divine revelations but; rather a book written by Muhammad (peace be upon him) himself. They have argued upon the basis of some sort of resemblance found between the Quran and previous celestial books and termed it as solid evidence.

Furthermore, the orientalists have also raised several questions, such as the influence of the social & cultural environment of the Arabian Peninsula on the compilation of revelations, the influence of pre-Islamic poets on the poetry on the Quran, and the influence of Deen-e Hanif.
: In the Holy Qur'an, Allah Almighty has forbidden Muslims from division and disorder in many places. The Qur'an has also warned the Muslims of the bad consequences of division, according to which, apart from the hereafter punishment, one of its main consequences in this world is the weakness of the Muslims and the end of their collective strength. Allah has declared division and chaos to be the path of Jews, Christians and the enemies of Islam, while living together in unity and agreement is the path of the believers. In the same way, the Holly Prophet (PBUH) has also strongly urged Muslims to stay away from division, confusion and discord in his decrees. The Prophet (peace be upon him) has forbidden the Muslims from prolonging their anger for more than three days even in case of mutual disagreement. In the light of these teachings, he laid the foundation of an Islamic society free from division and chaos, where people had gathered under the flag of Islam after erasing their old ugliness and differences and transcending the distinctions of color, race, nation and tribe. Due to which a beautiful human Islamic society was founded. Therefore, spreading division and chaos within the society in any way is equivalent to turning away from the Qur'an and Sunnah. However, the disagreement that is prohibited in the Qur'an and Sunnah is the negative disagreement that arises due to envy, malice, malice and enmity. But if people disagree with each other's thoughts and ideas while living in the circle of civilization in a polite and scholarly way, then it is not prohibited, rather such a difference is also useful for the development of human thoughts and ideas. These issues have been highlighted in the light of Quran and Sunnah in this paper.
2024-10-01T00:51:47+05:00 Gul Muhammad Shar editorbhikmah@salu.edu.pk Dr. Zahid Ali Zahidi editorbhikmah@salu.edu.pk hikmah hikmah editor.hikmah@salu.edu.pk
The belief of the Promised Mahdi is one of the fundamental beliefs of all Islamic religions. Some rights are backed by law and some are backed by morals and both are mutually dependent. If there is no moral force behind the law, the role of the law is very limited. War and peace affect our personal lives by affecting the economy of nations. Based on the wars fought and alliances made for peace, different countries either come together or become mortal enemies of each other. The Holy Quran provides comprehensive guidance for dealing with war, maintaining peace and ending violence. If the world is serious about sustainable peace and prosperity, it should focus on Quranic guidance. In order to maintain peace and security in the world and to avoid temptation and mischief, the teachings and pure character of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) left for us, human history cannot provide an example.

Islam has declared all those actions prohibited and haram. Those who threaten one's religion, intellect, race, life and property and dignity. The environment actually deteriorates when a religion, intellect, race, life and property and reputation are threatened and these objects are sure to be hit.

Islam has made a strong arrangement for their protection. The religion of non-Muslims has been protected and Jihad has been made obligatory in case of threats to Islam, and the propagation of religion has been made the responsibility of both the government and the people. . By implementing the law of retribution and death, the safety of life was ensured and taking someone's life unjustly was declared as the murder of the entire humanity. Protection of honor was arranged in the form of Hadqazaf and Hadzana. Protection of property was arranged in the form of nikah regime and punishment of whipping. Thus polluting the environment has been strictly prevented. It is necessary that the people of the world, from the rulers to the people and from the people to the people, should consider the pure life of the Last of the Prophets as a model for themselves and follow it. Only in this way can temptation and mischief be removed from the world and an atmosphere of peace and security can be created.
2023-12-24T00:00:00+05:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Bayan-ul-Hikmah
