In this context, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has played a notable role through its ideological framework, organizational discipline, and public initiatives aimed at reducing sectarian polarization. The party’s manifesto emphasizes human dignity, justice, and welfare beyond divisions of sect, language, or ethnicity, thereby promoting an inclusive Islamic political vision. Jamaat-e-Islami has consistently advocated inter-sect dialogue, constitutionalism, and adherence to democratic norms as pathways to national unity. By encouraging its members to respect diverse schools of thought and discouraging takfīr, the party contributes to a culture of tolerance within religious and political spheres. Its participation in joint religious boards, peace committees, and issue-based alliances reflects a practical commitment to mitigating sectarian tensions. Although challenges remain due to broader socio-political dynamics in Pakistan, the party’s efforts illustrate how faith-based political movements can support national harmony without compromising doctrinal principles. This paper examines Jamaat-e-Islami’s contributions to sectarian de-escalation, the philosophical foundations guiding its approach, and the impact of its policies on the wider discourse of unity within Pakistani society.
2025-12-06T16:48:40+05:00Ashraf Seraaj Gultarid.ashraf.seraaj1258204@gmail.comMehr-un-Nisaanzildream@gmail.comhikmah hikmaheditorbhikmah@salu.edu.pk
Shaykh al-Mufīd (may God have mercy upon him) stands among the most distinguished and influential scholars of the Shi‘a Imāmī tradition. His multifaceted contributions left a profound imprint on the intellectual, cultural, and political landscape of the 4th and 5th centuries A.H. His services may broadly be categorized into the missionary, academic-research, pedagogical, foundational, and political domains.

In the field of missionary work, Shaykh al-Mufīd adopted an effective and refined methodology grounded in psychological insight and an early, sophisticated conception of scholarly dialogue. His approach centered on diverse modes of reasoning, dialectical engagement, and a defensive literary tradition that powerfully articulated Shi‘a doctrines. In the realm of scholarship and research, he produced a monumental intellectual legacy comprising juristic treatises, theological works, collections of hadith and traditions, polemical writings, and records of debates, all of which constitute a cornerstone of classical Shi‘a scholarship.
2025-12-06T17:08:50+05:00Mustafa Ali Irfani1214.mustafa.ali@gmail.comMustafa Ali Irfani1214.mustafa.ali@gmail.com
Speech Ethics is an important part of Islamic teachings. It guides a person to safeguard their tongue, speak truthfully, with gentleness, and treat others with respect. It emphasizes avoiding useless talk, refraining from backbiting and slander, and resolving disagreements with wisdom. The Holy Prophet ﷺ said: “Speak good or remain silent” The Qur’an repeatedly commands speaking the truth, conversing with kindness, and avoiding rumors.

Akhlāq al-Takallum (Ethics of Speech) also refers to the manner in which the Almighty Lord addresses humanity. When Allah, the Exalted, speaks to human beings with love and compassion, it becomes incumbent upon humans by obeying the Lord to speak in the best and most beautiful manner. For this reason, all the Prophets and the Imams (peace be upon them) likewise spoke with an excellent and graceful mode of expression. They always advised that whenever one speaks, it should be in the finest and most noble manner.

Even when someone showed disrespect toward the Imams (peace be upon them), they responded with refined and dignified speech. Islam grants significant importance to good speech, which serves as a lesson and message for people to hold firmly to good character. Indeed, Allah, the Lord of Glory, is greatly pleased with such conduct.
2024-09-30T23:57:36+05:00Dr. Muzaffar Hussain Syedmuzaffar.hussain@zu.edu.pkWajid Aliwajid.ali@zu.edu.pkhikmah hikmaheditor.hikmah@salu.edu.pk
This is era of modern science and technology. Man has made great progress and new discoveries and inventions are coming out day by day. But on the other side the spirituality is on the decline and the storm of materialism has enveloped the whole world. In this situation the last prophet’s life is role model for humanity as Quran says that He is the complete role model for you. The life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is the life of a perfect and complete human being, whose moral virtues can illuminate the human society of every era. Equality, justice and other moral values are necessary for the formation of a better human society. Bright examples of these values are found in the life of the Prophet(pbuh). The purpose of studying the biography of the prophet is that the practical form of the Quranic verses and the hadiths of the Prophet can come before us so that we can follow the prophetic role in every aspect of our practical life.
2024-09-30T21:52:16+05:00Sayed Munawar Ali Shaheditorbhikmah@salu.edu.pkRaza Hussain Shareditorbhikmah@salu.edu.pkhikmah hikmaheditor.hikmah@salu.edu.pk
So for as Proper attention and care, look after and energy are necessary for maintenance of physical health, similarly protection, perfection and growth are important for spiritual health. When we cover our body with clothes and do not leave it in an open environment, it does not mean that body is kept in certain limitations but it is to keep it safe and secure in better manners. Similarly when we protect our soul from troubles and losses so that it may not be entrapped into pollutions and dirtinesses. when heart and soul are protected in such a way ,it is called taqwa (righteousness,). The word 'Taqwa' has been taken from wiqaya, which means to defend soul from every thing that may cause to damage it.
2024-09-30T19:18:58+05:00Muhammad Tahir Akbareditorbhikmah@salu.edu.pkDr. Ansaruddin Madnieditorbhikmah@salu.edu.pkhikmah hikmaheditor.hikmah@salu.edu.pk
This article investigates the protection of civilians during armed conflict and other violent situations. It conducts a comparative analysis of two legal frameworks: Islamic law and International Humanitarian Law (IHL). Both systems, the article argues, share a core principle: the distinction between fighters and non-fighters.

It explores how Islamic law, drawing from the Quran and prophetic traditions, emphasizes just warfare ethics. This includes limitations on the use of force, prohibition of targeting civilians and civilian property, and the guarantee of fair treatment for prisoners of war. The analysis examines how these principles translate into practical rules, such as restrictions on weaponry and the obligation to minimize civilian casualties.

* PhD Scholar, Department of Qur’anic Studies, IUB.

** Department of Religion and Art, University of Regions and Denomination, Qom, Iran

The article explores how IHL, codified in treaties like the Geneva Conventions, establishes a comprehensive framework for civilian protection during armed conflict. The article also examines specific IHL protections for vulnerable groups like children, medical personnel, and civilians caught in the crossfire. By comparing Islamic law and IHL, the article highlights both convergences and divergences in their approaches to civilian protection. It explores areas of potential cooperation, where Islamic legal interpretations can reinforce IHL principles. Conversely, the article examines areas where interpretations of Islamic law might differ from IHL norms.

In conclusion, the article emphasizes the significance of both Islamic law and IHL in safeguarding civilians during war and violence. It underscores the need for continued dialogue and collaboration between these legal systems to ensure the most robust protection possible for innocent populations caught in the throes of conflict.
2024-09-30T17:29:35+05:00Tariq Bin Umereditorbhikmah@salu.edu.pkhikmah hikmaheditor.hikmah@salu.edu.pk
Naseem Hijazi’s Novel (Akhri Chatan) is such a story of the society which had perceived Peerless acme and acute ruin. But from the Shia point of view, the doctrine of Mahdism is included in the requirements of religion. The Shia religion is basically divided into three major sects and all three of them disagree on the identity of Imam Mahdi. In this paper, Zaydia religion discusses the theory of Mahdism in research and criticism.

Among the Zaydia sects, the sect that remains today and is present in large numbers is the Jarudia sect. The Al-Houthi tribes to which they belong follow Jarudia in all their beliefs. And according to the beliefs of the Jarodia sect, it is considered as one of the closest sects of the Shia. But there is confusion among their scholars about names, genealogy, example and appearance. But the majority of Zaydia Jarodia's views are based on the Shia. But according to the number, it will be the fifteenth imman instead of twelfth. And the lineage of Imam Mahdi will be from the descendants of Fatimi and Imam Hussain.
